Many readers of The ?New? Prostate Cancer InfoLink may be interested in listening to or reading the transcript of a program on Science Friday on National Public Radio that aired last Monday.
Neal Conan, the program host, interviewed Tara Parker-Pope, a journalist who writes regularly about prostate cancer and its management on the New York Times Well blog, and Dr. Jason Engel, a urologic oncologist who specializes in the treatment of prostate cancer at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Their subject was sexual function after radical prostatectomy and other forms of treatment for prostate cancer ? with call-ins and e-mail questions and comments from a number of patients.
The discussion centers around data on sexual function after treatment for prostate cancer published last week in the Journal of the American Medical Association, and previously discussed on this web site.
